The recently appointed Prime Minister, Samak Sundaravej, in his weekly talk show, has brought back the debate about gambling in Thailand again.
An interviewer on his talk show asked the Prime Minister about casinos and betting on football matches. The Prime Minister responded by saying, “If this government manages to complete its four-year term, people will be able to see legalized casinos.”
There have been and will be many people opposed to supporting gambling in Thailand. But, Mr. Samak has been supported by the Minister of the Interior. Chalerm Yubamrung said, “We can organize zoning or promote casinos okbet online games that serve foreign tourists, while we set some limits for Thai customers.”
There will be those who oppose Mr Samak by pointing to the social problems that come with gambling But, the Prime Minister believes that legal gambling will eventually lead to the closure of casinos okbet online games and -unsupported which is attacked every day. Thailand’s president is also considering a Lotto system of ticket dispensers instead of the current system of lottery ticket sellers.
